The Program   

 

Our International Training and Recruitment Program helps Brazilian nurses who whish to work in the nursing field in the U.S. The Program comprises:

 Eligibility to Participate in The Program

Must have the Bachelor of Nursing Degree from an accredited Institution

Posses the professional license without encumbrances

Have intermediate advanced English skills

 

 

Obtaining your Profissional Equivalncy

 

In order to obtain the Professional Equivalency to work as a Registered Nurse in the U.S., the candidate will be evaluated as follows:

  

1. Test of English Proficiency

 

 

2. Educational Evaluation

 

Your secondary education completion, as well as the nursing transcripts and degree will be verified and analised. The professional license is also required for verifications.

 

3. Qualifying Exam

 

The Qualifying Exam is a nursing knowledge multiple-choice test in English language. The candidate will be tested in the following subjects: basic nursing education and nursing care of adult (medical and surgical nursing), maternal/infant nursing, nursing care of children, and psychiatric/mental health nursing. The Qualifying Exam consist of 260 questions, applied in 2 sessions. Generally, the questions describe a patient symptom and ask for the best suitable treatment, among 4 choices.

Placement in The American Job Market

 Immigration Process

  

The last step of the International Training and Recruitment Program is the processing of the necessary paperwork for the candidate and family to immigrate to the U.S., counseling in the process of signing the employment contract and, obtaining professional licensure in the U.S.

 

Generally, the immigration process consists of two separate parts. First the sponsoring empllyer files the Immigrant Visa Petition with USCIS. Once the Immigrant Visa Petition is approved, it is time to file the actual ‘green card’ before the American Consulate. With the Immigrant Visa stuck in the passport, you can pack and travel immediately!
